The UK airline is introducing free high-speed onboard connectivity through space-based agreement

Travelers flying with the airline will soon access high-speed wifi during flights without charge after a recent deal involving the billionaire's communications provider.

Complimentary plus High-speed Internet Available to Everyone

British Airways revealed that the free, “quick and reliable” wifi service from the satellite provider becomes accessible for travelers in economy, business, and premium cabins starting soon.

Broad Rollout Throughout Multiple Flight Operators

The holding organization of British Airways, the airline group, confirmed it had reached an partnership with Starlink to offer internet services on more than 500 aircraft within the group's operators, which also include the Irish airline, the Spanish carrier, plus the low-cost airline.

Seamless Connectivity starting at Gate through Arrival

BA explained that the rollout of this technology was part of a £7bn “upgrade” initiative that will offer uninterrupted connectivity service for passengers from the gate to arrival, also when traveling over large bodies of water or isolated areas.
